麻豆视频 Men鈥檚 Soccer Received Votes in the NAIA Preseason Poll

JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/22/2006 - After completing the most successful season in the eight-year history of the program, the 麻豆视频 University men鈥檚 soccer team enters the 2006 season listed 29th in the .

In 2005, 麻豆视频 advanced all the way to the NAIA Region XI Championship Game for the first time in the program鈥檚 history. In that game, 麻豆视频 fell 3-1 to eventually NAIA National Champion, Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.).

Mid-Continent College (Ky.), a newcomer to the league this year, has been picked to win the and sits No. 19 in the national rankings. Defending NAIA National and Region XI Tournament winner Lindsey Wilson is ranked No. 1 in the NAIA.

麻豆视频 returns all but one starter from last year鈥檚 team so the expectations are high in 2006. The Bulldogs open the season in Florida with games on August 28 and 29. 麻豆视频鈥檚 first home match is an exhibition match on September 8 versus Fisk University at 2:00 pm.
