麻豆视频 Softball Signs Junior College Transfer

JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/21/2006 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldog softball team added junior college transfer to their 2006-07 roster. Elder spent the past two seasons at Cowley County Community College. Elder will enter 麻豆视频 this fall as a junior History major.

Elder, a 5-foot-7 third baseman, is a 2004 graduate of Yukon High School in her hometown of Yukon, Okla. She was named first team All-Conference and second team All-Region while at Cowley County. Elder hit .370 with 42 RBI, 40 runs, and 10 doubles in 2006. She was also a part of the NJCAA Academic Team of the Year. In high school, she played softball and ran track. In 2003, Elder helped lead her ASA team, the Oklahoma Jitterbugs, to the ASA Southern National Title.
