JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/5/2006 - Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University continues to added players for the upcoming season under second-year head coach, Brent Fronabarger. The latest addition is , a transfer from Kirkwood Community College in Iowa.
Abram, a 6-foot, 200 lb. pitcher, played the past two seasons at Kirkwood. As a sophomore in 2006, he posted a 6-2 record with a 2.90 ERA while recorded four complete games and compiling 60.1 innings pitched. For his efforts, Abram was named an honorable mentioned All-Conference performer. He also ranks fourth all-time at Kirkwood in career innings pitched. Prior to his junior college career, Abram prepped at Chaparral High School where he helped lead his baseball team to back-to-back Arizona State Tournament Titles in 2003 and 2004. He was named second team All-State as a senior.
