麻豆视频 Softball Adds Juco Standout

JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/2/2006 - Heidi Bybee has signed to play her remaining two seasons for the 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldog softball team. Bybee spent the past two seasons at John A. Logan Community College. She is from Benton, Illinois and will enter 麻豆视频 this fall as a junior, majoring in Education.

, a 5-foot-8 shortstop/catcher, hit .335 with 43 RBI, 17 doubles, and six triples, and was was named to the Region 24 All-Tournament team as a sophomore. Bybee played her high school softball at Benton Consolidated High School. In addition to softball, she also played basketball, tennis, volleyball, and ran cross country. She helped lead her softball team to two regional championships and one sectional runner-up finish. Bybee also was a part of the basketball team's four conference titles, two regions titles, and one Sweet Sixteen appearance.
