Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Baseball Adds Alabama Recruit to 2006-07 Roster

JACKSON, Tenn. - 5/17/2006 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University baseball program, fresh off their first NAIA Region Tournament appearance since 2002, continues to add players for the 2006-07 season. John Burnett of Guntersville, Alabama, joins the team this fall as a freshman and will major in Graphic Design or Law.

, a 6-foot-3 160 lb. right-hander will pitch and also play the outfield for the Bulldogs. He prepped at Westminster Christian Academy in Huntsville, Alabama where he played baseball and basketball. In baseball, Burnett was named MVP and All-Metro (Huntsville) as a sophomore when he hit .342. He was named to the East-West All-Star game as a junior. Burnett was also the Freshman Class President at Westminster.
