JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/13/2006 - In the first TranSouth Weekly report for the 2006 softball season, the Playerof the Week honors go to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University’s Holly Haycraft. This award is for the week ending March 12, 2006. Haycraft, a 5-foot-6 senior center fielder from Dyersburg, Tennessee, hit .611 (11-18) on the week as she recorded multiple hits in five of her six games played. Haycraft help lead Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to a perfect 6-0 week. She tallied four runs, four doubles, eight RBI, and two walks. Haycraft stole 4-of-4 bases on the week. She posted a .833 slugging percentage.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, ranked No. 15 in the NAIA preseason polls, is currently 13-3 on the season and are winners of six games in a row.
