Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Lowery Named TranSouth Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/13/2006 - JACKSON, Tenn. – In the first TranSouth Weekly report for the 2006 baseball season, Zach Lowery of Â鶹ÊÓƵ University was named the TranSouth Conference Player of the Week for the week ending March 12, 2006. Lowery, a 5-foot-8 junior catcher from Munford, Tennessee helped lead Â鶹ÊÓƵ to a 3-1 week. In the four games, Lowery hit .714 (10-14) while recording at least one hit in each game. He tallied four runs, six RBI, and one home run. Lowery’s slugging percentage for the week was .929.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ is now 14-7 on the year and are winners in 12 of their last 14 games.
