麻豆视频 Men Climb to No. 5, Women Stay At No. 5

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/8/2006 - The 麻豆视频 University men's and women's basketball teams found themselves ranked at the No. 5 position in their respective polls released on Wednesday afternoon. The men climbed four spots, while the women stayed at No. 5. This marks the ninth straight ranking, every poll this season (inlcuding the preseason polls) that both the 麻豆视频 men and women have been ranked in the NAIA Top-10.

For 麻豆视频's men, the Bulldogs are fresh off their 20th win of the season (20-3). This marked their fastest track to 20 wins since the 2001 season when 麻豆视频 went 31-5. The Bulldogs have won six games in a row. On the season, 麻豆视频 is 9-0 at home, 11-3 on the road, and 11-3 versus ranked teams. According to the Massey Ratings (), 麻豆视频's men are listed as the No. 2 team in the NAIA with the sixth toughest schedule in the NAIA. Massey also ranks 麻豆视频 247 out of 1,491 total men's basketball teams in all divisions.

麻豆视频's men are in the middle of a stretch of eight games in 17 days. So far, 麻豆视频 is 3-0 in that stretch, with the toughest games yet to come. 麻豆视频 has five games left over the next 10 days (at Crichton, vs. No. 12 Trevecca Nazarene, vs. Cumberland, at Lyon, and vs. No. 1 Mountain State).

麻豆视频's women have won five of six games with their only loss coming by just three points on the road at No. 2 Freed-Hardeman University, 53-50. 麻豆视频 has a game at Blue Mountain on Thursday night. Then 麻豆视频 will play two teams ranking in the NAIA Top-8 (vs. No. 4 Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday and No. 8 Cumberland on Monday).
