JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/25/2006 - Both of the basketball squads continue hold their NAIA Top 10 national rankings for the seventh straight ranking. In the latest rankings released on Wednesday, January 25, the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Lady Bulldogs (14-4) are ranked No. 6, while the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bulldogs (15-3) are ranked No. 9.
This marks the seventh week of national polls that the NAIA has released this season, including the preseason polls. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has boasted both the men's and women's teams in the Top 10 of each rankings.
The men reached their highest mark in school history when the Bulldogs were voted No. 1 in the nation in the January 11 ranking.
The top spot for the Lady Bulldogs his season came in the December 17 rankings when Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's women hit the No. 2 spot.
Both the men and women will resume play on Thursday, January 26 with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ plays host to Lyon College (Ark.). The women play at 6:00 pm and the men follow at 8:00 pm.
