The current No. 3 ranking for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's men is the highest since the 2002 season in which Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ was ranked No. 3 in the final poll of the season while earning a #2 seed in the national tournament. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s highest ranking ever came in the 1998-99 season when the Bulldogs reached the No. 2 spot. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ opens their second half of the season with a matchup at No. 1 Mountain State University on Saturday at 3:00 pm CST. This marks the second straight time that Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has met Mountain State when the Cougars were sitting at No. 1. The previous time was last season on February 19 at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ when the Bulldogs upset Mountain State 78-75.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's women are currently ranked No. 7 in the nation and have the recently injured starting point guard, Jennifer Henson, returning to her first action in four games.
