Two 麻豆视频 Cross Country Runners Run in NAIA Nationals

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/19/2005 - The 麻豆视频 University cross country teams had two runners qualify for the NAIA National Meet as individual qualifiers. Lebanon, Tennessee native Candace Cross and Phillip Thompson of Laconia, Tennessee each raced in the event in Louisville, Ky.

Cross, the 2005 TranSouth Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year, placed 95th amoung the individuals with a time of 19:18. The was the first national meet for the sophomore.

Thompson, a sophomore in his second straight NAIA National Meet, placed 149th with a time of 26:25.

The 麻豆视频 Cross Country teams both captured the TranSouth Conference Titles this season, as well as, both teams earning third place finishes in the NAIA Region XI Meet.
