Â鶹ÊÓƵ Men Fall in TranSouth Soccer Title Game

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/5/2005 - The Â鶹ÊÓƵ University men's soccer team advanced to their second straight TranSouth Tournament Title game as they battled the top seeded Cumberland University today in Lebanon, Tenn. However, for the second straight season, Â鶹ÊÓƵ finishes runner-up with a 3-0 loss to the hands of host Cumberland. Â鶹ÊÓƵ falls to 12-2-1 on the season with the only two losses for Â鶹ÊÓƵ coming to Cumberland. Cumberland improves to 12-5-1 on the season.

The good news for Â鶹ÊÓƵ is that they still earn an at-large bid to the NAIA Region XI Tournament since Cumberland won both the regular season and tournament titles.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ allowed Cumberland their first goal at the 20 minute mark. Cumberland led 1-0 at halftime, then added two insurance goals at the 55 and 80th minute mark.
