麻豆视频 Men Advance to TranSouth Soccer Championship

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/4/2005 - The 麻豆视频 University men's soccer team earned a trip to the TranSouth Conference title game with a 1-0 win over Martin Methodist College in the semifinals this afternoon. 麻豆视频, the second seed in the tournament, improves to 12-1-1 overall, while Martin Methodist falls to 9-4-5. With the win, 麻豆视频 assures themselves of at least an at-large bid to next week's NAIA Region XI Tournament in Colubmia, Ky.

麻豆视频 scored on a penalty kick goal by Gareth Munro in the 75th minute to give 麻豆视频 the lead and eventual win. Robert Stinson recorded three saves for 麻豆视频.

麻豆视频 play in their second straight TranSouth Tournament championship game and third overall in school history. A win over Cumberland, the regular season champion, would give 麻豆视频 their first ever soccer conference title.
