麻豆视频's Ogolla Named Volleyball Setter of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/12/2005 - Purity Ogolla, 麻豆视频 University's junior setter, was named the TranSouth Conference Setter of the Week for the week ending October 9. This honor give her two straight setter of the week awards and three total for the season.

Ogolla, a 5-foot-9 junior setter from Nairobi, Kenya, averaged 14.71 assists per game, including 58 assists against TranSouth foe Freed-Hardeman. She added 45 more assists in a win over Trevecca Nazarene as 麻豆视频 recorded a 1-1 week. Ogolla leads 麻豆视频 with 813 assists and is also third on the team with 57 blocks and 40 service aces.

On the season, 麻豆视频 is 11-7 overall and 3-3 in the TranSouth Conference standings. Up next for 麻豆视频 will be a matchup with the TranSouth leader Martin Methodist at home on Thursday, October 13 at 7:00 pm.
