麻豆视频 Volleyball Wins Conference Opener

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/22/2005 - The 麻豆视频 University volleyball team officially started their defense of their TranSouth Conference regular season and tournament titles form last season. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Cumberland University (Tenn.) 3-1 (30-16, 30-12, 24-30, 30-23) in 麻豆视频's TranSouth Conference opener. 麻豆视频 improved to 8-4 overall and 1-0 in the league. Cumberland falls to 10-9 and 0-2 in conference play.

麻豆视频 blew through the first two games without much trouble but stumbled in the third game as an inspired Cumberland team showed they had a little volleyball left in them. 麻豆视频 trailed by six points early (8-2) and never recovered. The final game went to 麻豆视频 as they held of the aggresive Cumberland team.
