麻豆视频 Falls to Lambuth 1-0 in Final Mintues

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/16/2005 - The 麻豆视频 University women's soccer team, just four games into their inaugural season, dropped a tight match in final minutes to crosstown rival Lambuth University. Lambuth tallied a goal in the 87th minute to earn the 1-0 win. 麻豆视频 falls to 1-3 on the year, while Lambuth improves to 4-1-2 overall.

In the match, Lambuth outshot 麻豆视频 33-2. 麻豆视频's goalie, Heather Steele, who has been great all year, stayed busy on the night as tallied 19 saves, including 13 in the second half.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be this same Lambuth team in 10 days when Lambuth will host the rematch on Monday, September 26 at 3:00 pm.
