Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Adds Juco Transfer to Baseball Roster

JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/4/2005 - Jason Cooper has transferred to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University from Johnson County Community College. Cooper will join Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ this fall as a junior.

Cooper, a 6-foot-1 185 lb. second baseman, spent the past two seasons, including one red-shirt season, at Johnson County were he hit .336 in 109 at bats in 2005. Cooper spent a season at Central Missouri State were he was a member of the team that won the 2003 NCAA Division II National Championship. Cooper prepped at Lee's Summit North High School were he graduated in 2002. While at Lee's Summit North, he played five seasons of varsity baseball. Cooper was also named a starter for the American Legion All-Star game in which he went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
