Malone Added to 麻豆视频鈥檚 2006 Baseball Roster

JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/10/2005 - , of Hohenwald, Tennessee, has agreed to continue his baseball career for the Bulldogs of 麻豆视频 University. Malone will enter 麻豆视频 this fall as a freshman, majoring in Economics and Finance.

Malone, a 6-foot-1 and 180 lb. infielder, played his high school baseball at Zion Christian Academy in Columbia, Tennessee. In addition to baseball, he also played football for three seasons. Malone was named to the baseball All-District team in his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons (2003-05). He was also named as the Team MVP all four years of his high school career. Malone finished his senior season with a .444 batting average. In football, Malone was the Defensive Player of the Year and Team Captain as a senior. Off the field in high school, Malone was a member of the National Honor Society and was named to the Principles List as a sophomore, junior, and senior.

Malone is the son of Bud and Beverly Malone and is a member of First Baptist Church in Hohenwald.
