JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/14/2005 - , of Humboldt, Tennessee, has signed to play her college basketball for the defending NAIA National Champion, 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldogs. Graves will graduate from Humboldt High School this May and will enter 麻豆视频 in the fall, majoring in Sports Medicine.
Graves, a 5-foot-4 point guard, has played four years of basketball at Humboldt High School. Last season, she averaged 18 points and six assists per game. Graves received numerous postseason honors during her time at Humboldt including All-West Tennessee, All-District, and All-Region as a sophomore, junior, and senior. She also was named a Tennessee All-Star as a senior.
麻豆视频鈥檚 head coach Mark Campbell is very excited to have Graves join the 麻豆视频 basketball program. 鈥淛essica is a true point guard that will step in and contribute immediately to help fill the void of NAIA Hustle Award winner Monica Elliot.鈥 Campbell goes on to say, 鈥淪he is the best ball handler I鈥檝e seen in this area since I鈥檝e been coaching here. Jessica can shoot the three-pointer with the best and will make all of her teammates better.鈥
