麻豆视频 Softball Pre-Season Ranked No. 3

Jackson, Tenn. - 2/6/2002 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldog softball program enters the 2002 season as the No. 3 ranked team in the NAIA. 麻豆视频 finished last season鈥檚 record setting year with a 63-8 record and a third place NAIA Softball World Series finish.

麻豆视频 will open up the 2002 season on the road February 20 when they travel to McKenzie to play Bethel College. The Lady Bulldogs will then host the Coca Cola Classis at 麻豆视频 on Friday and Saturday, February 22-23.

Coach Dunn and his squad will once again face off with some top NAIA and NCAA opponents during the 2002 season. 麻豆视频 will play NCAA Div. II opponent Delta State University and Mississippi Univ. for Women. Also on the schedule is the No. 9 ranked NAIA team Athens State, a team which 麻豆视频 defeated in the regional and national tournament last season. The Lady Dogs will also play NAIA Region XI powers; Georgetown KY and Cumberland TN. 麻豆视频 will have to depend on its experience pitching to carry them

this season as only four players, three of which started, are returning from last season NCCAA National Championship and NAIA Third Place team.
