麻豆视频 Bulldogs Playing Well As Regular Season Closes Down

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/15/2005 - The 麻豆视频 University Bulldogs have began playing their best basketball at the right time as they now sit atop the TranSouth Conference standings with four conference games remaining. No. 13 麻豆视频 is now 18-7 on the year, 5-1 in TranSouth play including Monday night鈥檚 win at No. 23 Cumberland (Tenn.). 麻豆视频 second win over a ranked Cumberland team this season.

Back on January 25, 麻豆视频 was 12-7 overall, 0-1 in the conference, had just come off a last second loss at Lambuth, and was on a three-game losing streak. However, 麻豆视频 head coach Ralph Turner new what his guys were capable of and new they had no reason to panic. His players bought into that and now, six game later, the Bulldogs are 18-7 overall and 5-1 in the TranSouth Conference. 麻豆视频 is currently riding a 6-game winnings streak including five straight in the TranSouth Conference. In the past two weeks, 麻豆视频 has jump from No. 26 to No 13 this week in the NAIA National Rankings.

麻豆视频 has five games remaining, four of which are conference games. 麻豆视频 will host Lyon College on Thursday, February 17 and Martin Methodist on Thursday, February 24. 麻豆视频 will travel to Freed-Hardeman on Saturday, February 26 and then will complete the suspended game at Trevecca Nazarene; date is still to be announced. Trevecca Nazarene is currently 4-1 in league play and is the only team to defeat 麻豆视频 at this point in TranSouth Conference play.

麻豆视频 has just one non-conference game remaining and that will be a re-match game versus No. 1 Mountain State University. Earlier this season, 麻豆视频 lost at then No. 2 Mountain State 64-53 after leading 29-28 at halftime. In this game, 麻豆视频 was without three starters.
