麻豆视频 Volleyball Signs TCA Standout

JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/28/2005 - 麻豆视频 University volleyball has signed Jackson native and Trinity Christian Academy standout . Hutchison is currently a senior at TCA and will join 麻豆视频 this fall as a freshman.

Hutchison, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter, has been a two-sport athlete at TCA including volleyball under Coach Keith Hutchison and tennis under Coach James Parker. In volleyball, she was named All-Tournament and All-District in 2002, followed by All-Tournament and All-District honors again in 2003. The 2004 season was Hutchison鈥檚 standout year as she was named the District Player of the Year, Region MVP, District MVP, and All-District. She was also named the Jackson Sun鈥檚 Player of the Year in 2004. Hutchison holds four Tennessee State volleyball records including kills in game, kills in a match, kills in a season, and kills in a career. During the coming months, Hutchison will play on the TACA All-Star volleyball team.

麻豆视频鈥檚 Head Coach Brian Dunn states that Hutchison 鈥渋s a very good student athlete.鈥� Dunn goes on to say, 鈥淪he (Hutchison) is one of the best local volleyball players he has seen while coaching at 麻豆视频.鈥�

In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Hutchison is a standout in the classroom as well. She is a member of the Honor Society and Leadership University. She attended Girl鈥檚 State and was named Who鈥檚 Who Among American High School Students.
