Crozier Adds to His Soccer Honors with All-American Selection

JACKSON, Tenn. - 12/6/2004 - has been named to the NAIA honorable mentioned All-American Team as a midfielder. In addition to this honor, Crozier has been named to the TranSouth All-Conference first team, the NAIA Region XI first team, and the TranSouth Conference Newcomer of the Year this post season.

Crozier, a freshman midfielder from Glasgow, Scotland, was the fourth Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ soccer player in school history to be named to the All-American team. Crozier was voted higher than any other Bulldog in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ soccer history as he missed being named to the third team by just one vote. On the season, Crozier was the only Bulldog to start all 20 games for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. He tallied six goals, three assists, and 15 points on the year. His 39 shots led the team.

This season was the best every for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Soccer as far as NAIA postseason is concerned. The Bulldogs finished runner-up in the TranSouth Conference Tournament. This awarded them a first ever trip to the NAIA Region XI Soccer Tournament in which they advanced to the semifinals before losing 3-0 to the No. 1 team in the nation. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ finished the season with a 9-9-2 overall record with one of their toughest schedules ever.
