Clark's Career Rebound Night Helps Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to 102-75 Win

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/5/2004 - The fourth ranked Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Lady Bulldogs earned their second win straight win to open the season as the defeated Loyola University-New Orleans . Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ senior Stephanie Clark posted as career high 20 rebounds to go with her game high 28 points to lead Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. The Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-0 on the year, while Loyola falls to 1-2.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ used great shooting in the first half to jump out to a 57-37 lead at halftime. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ shot 60% from the field including 54% (7-13) from behind the arc. For the game, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ shot 60% from the field and 40% (11-27) from three point range.

The Lady Bulldogs were led by Clark's 28 points and 20 rebounds. This marked her second double-double of the season. Merideth Richardson scored 16 points, 14 in the first half, on 6-of-10 shooting from the field, including 4-of-7 from behind the arc. Tiffany Fisher scored 12 and Paola Ferrari added 11 for the Lady Bulldogs.

Loyola was led by Kiely Schork with 23 points, including 7-of-18 from three point range. Joelle Bordelon added 18 points while Marjorie Bilinski tallied 12 for the Wolfpack.

Up next for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be one of their many matchups with an NAIA Top 10 opponent. On Tuesday, Nov. 9, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will host No. 7 North Georgia College at 4:00 pm at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
