麻豆视频 Men Earn Win in Season Opener

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/2/2004 - The 麻豆视频 University Bulldogs topped Williams Baptist College (Ark.) as they opened their season with a win. 麻豆视频 goes to 1-0 while Williams Baptist falls to 0-1.

麻豆视频 was led by Corey Burkett and Ben Frederick with 19 points each. Cortney Jones added 10 points for the Bulldogs. In addition to these three, all players for 麻豆视频 scored at least three points in the game. Bruno Martinessi led the Bulldogs with nine rebounds to go with his nine points. In the game, 麻豆视频 sho 46% from the field including 39% (14-37) from behind the arc. 麻豆视频 made 13 of their 15 free throws attempted.

For Williams Baptist, Jeremy Bell, who posted 36 points versus 麻豆视频 last season, scored 31 in tonights contest. Braden Watson added 20 points for the Eagles.

Up next for the men's team, 麻豆视频 will travel to No. 8 Georgetown College (Ky.) on Thursday night at 7:00 pm.
