CLIFTON, Tenn. - 10/27/2004 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University men’s golf team posted their best score of the fall to earn a first place finished in the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational hosted by Freed-Hardeman University. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ first team scored a two-day total of 621 to place first, while Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s second team shot 683 to place fifth in the same tournament.
Milan, Tennessee native won the individual with a two-day score of 146. Joining Floyd on the All-Tournament team was former Trinity Christian Standout . Yandell finished fourth in the tournament with a score of 153. Brenton Berlin (159), Matt Wood (163), and Mickey Armstrong (167) finished 10th, 14th, and 21st respectively. Each of the five golfers on Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s first team are freshmen.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s second team scored a fifth place finish in the event. Gary Glapa shot 161, Drew Cannon socred a 167, Chase Whitby tallied a 173, and Nathan Morris scored 182.
