No. 20 麻豆视频 Upsets No. 10 Georgetown on the Road

GEORGETOWN, Ky. - 10/8/2004 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldog volleyball team earned one of their biggest wins in school history with a 3-1 (17-30, 30-25, 30-28, 30-27) win over No. 10 Georgetown College (Ky.). 麻豆视频 improves to 12-1 on the season with their only loss coming to NCAA Div. II opponent Christian Brothers.

麻豆视频 defeated NAIA national power Georgetown for the first time in school history (series 1-4). Georgetown has been ranked above 麻豆视频 in the Region XI rankings all season but this should allow 麻豆视频 to gain the top spot in next week's rankings. Also, this win could propell 麻豆视频 to their highest NAIA national ranking in school history when the rankings are released next Tuesday. The previous highest ranking was No. 17 in this year's pre-season poll.

The Lady Bulldogs will remain on the road on Saturday with a 1:00 pm match in New Albany, Indiana versus Indiana University-Southeast.
