麻豆视频 Remains Perfect in TranSouth Play with Win over Trevecca Nazarene

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/5/2004 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldogs defeated Trevecca Nazarene University (Tenn.) 3-0 (30-19, 30-11, 30-9) to improve to a perfect 5-0 in the TranSouth Conference. 麻豆视频, who moved up three spots to No. 20 in the NAIA polls, holds the top spot in the league as the only undefeated team remaining. 麻豆视频 is now 11-1 overall, while Trevecca Nazarene falls to 1-12 overall and 1-5 in the conference.

麻豆视频's win over Trevecca Nazarene was helped by two serving streaks of 14 straight points, one by senior Nicole Garber in game 2 and the other by Kelly Huffines in game 3. Huffines served 麻豆视频 to a 14-0 lead to start the third and final game. 麻豆视频 was led by Gladys Wandera with 18 kills. Tedy Georgieva added 15 kills. Nicole Garber led with 29 assists and Allison Shein led with 16 digs.

On Friday, 麻豆视频 travels to play NAIA No. 10 Georgetown College (Ky.) in a battle for top spot in the Region XI standings. Currently Georgetown is No. 1 and 麻豆视频 is No. 2 in the region rankings.
