麻豆视频 Tops Freed-Hardeman in Early TranSouth Match

HENDERSON, Tenn. - 9/7/2004 - 麻豆视频 University volleyball improved to 2-0 overall on the season and 1-0 in the TranSouth Conference with a 3-1 win (30-22, 27-30, 30-28, 30-28) at Freed-Hardeman University.

The Lady Bulldogs found themselves in a tough match from the start as 麻豆视频 trailed in every game, but rallied in three of the four to earn the win. 麻豆视频 was again led by senior middle hitter Gladys Wandera with 30-plus kills on the night.

"Freed-Hardeman is a much improved team from last season," according to 麻豆视频 head coach Brian Dunn. Dunn adds, "They've added some great players and will be a factor in this year's TranSouth race.".

麻豆视频 plays next on Thursday, September 9th at 麻豆视频 as they host Williams Baptist College (Ark.) at 8:00 pm.
