Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Crozier Named TranSouth Soccer Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/7/2004 - of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University has been named the TranSouth Conference men’s soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 4. Crozier helped lead Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to a 1-1 week, including their 12-0 win over NCAA Div. II foe, Delta State University (Miss.)

Crozier, a 5-foot-10 160lb midfielder, tallied three goals on five shots in the win over Delta State. He also tallied one assist in the game. As a freshman, those three goals were the first scored of his college career. Crozier hails from Glasgow, Scotland where he prepped at St. Ninians High School.

On the season, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is 3-1-1 and is scheduled for two games this week. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will host NCAA Div. III opponent Barry University (Fla.) on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. Then on Saturday, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will host Illinois Tech at 7:30 p.m. The game with Graceland schedule for Friday night has been cancelled.
