Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Softball Earns At-Large Bid to NAIA National Tournament

Jackson, Tenn. - 5/15/2004 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Softball team fell today in the NAIA Region XI Softball Tournament 6-1 to Georgetown College (Ky.). However, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ earned a trip to the next week in Decatur, Alabama. The Lady Bulldogs are ranked No. 9 in the final NAIA Softball Rankings which earned them on of the six at-large bid to the national tournament.

For Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, this will be their fourth straight trip to the NAIA Softball World Series and fifth trip in the past six years.

The world series will start on Friday, May 21 in Dacatur, Alabama and will run through Wednesday, May 26, the tournament taking a break on Sunday, May 23.
