Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's Clark Named the TranSouth Player of the Year; All-Conference Team Announced

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/2/2004 - Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University super junior was named the 2004 TranSouth Conference Player of the Year. Clark played in every game for the Lady Bulldogs since the Christmas break, including all 16 TranSouth Conference games. In addition to the player of the year honor, Clark also was named the TranSouth Conference Newcomer of the Year and first team All-Conference.

Clark, a native of Artesia, New Mexico, led the conference in scoring (21.5 ppg), rebounding (11.2 rbp), and field goal percentage (.643). Clarks also ranks first in the NAIA in field goal percentage and second in the nation in scoring and rebounding.

In addition to Clark's honors, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's and were both named second team All-Conference performers. Henson is averaging 8.5 points per game for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. She as made 52 three pointers on the season and is shooting 81% from the free throw line. Smith is second in the team with 10.5 points per game. She also is averaging 4.9 rebounds per game.
