Houston High Golfer Signs with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ

JACKSON, Tenn. - 12/12/2003 - Patrick Davis, of Germantown, Tennessee, has signed to play his college golf for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University. Davis is currently a senior at Houston High School and will graduate in May of 2004.

, at 5-foot-10 and 155 lbs., has played golf all four year of his high school career. In 2003, Davis helped lead Houston to the District and Region Championships. As a senior, Davis earned two tournament wins, placed second in the regional championship, was named Best of the Preps, and All-Metro.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's head golf coach, Don Morris, states, "Patrick is a really good addition to our golf program, both athletically and academically. We look for great things from him over the next four years."

In addition to his numerous honors on the golf course, Davis also earned scholar athlete honors in each of his four years of high school. Davis currently has a 3.4 GPA and plans to major in chemistry while at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
