Jackson, Tenn. - 10/6/2003 - continues her offensive dominance of the TranSouth as she received her third straight TranSouth Conference Player of the Week honor. Wandera helped Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to a 1-1 week with their only loss come at No. 16 Lee University. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is 18-4 overall and are currently second place in the TranSouth standings at 4-1.
Wandera averaged 6.33 kills, 2.67 digs, and 1.67 blocks per game in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s two matches this week. She posted a hitting percentage of .516 as Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ earned a 3-0 road win at Lyon College and lost 3-0 on the road at Lee University. At Lyon, Wandera tallied 17 kills, 25 attacks, and just two errors. She also had eight digs, five blocks, and two service aces. At Lee, Wandera posted 21 kills and four errors in 37 total attempts. She tallied eight digs and five blocks in the loss.
On the season, Wandera leads Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ with 330 kills, 40 service aces, and 94 total blocks. In the TranSouth, she leads with a .472 attacking percentage and ranks second with 4.85 kills per game.
