麻豆视频 softball places five on NAIA Scholars list

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 5/22/2012 - The NAIA has announced that 308 softball student-athletes have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. 麻豆视频 University had five players to make the grade including Ali Bozza, Sam Giesler, Caroline George, Keaton Kirk and Brooke Thomas.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

麻豆视频 is coming off their best season since 2002 when the team was 51-7. 麻豆视频 finished 2012 with a 46-12 record. They won the TranSouth regular season and tournament titles, while advancing to the NAIA Softball National Championships.
