麻豆视频 softball makes seventh trip to nationals, fourth most in tourney field

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 5/9/2012 - The 麻豆视频 University softball team earned an automatic bid to the 2012 NAIA Softball National Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala. The softball tournament will take place at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex from May 17-23.

麻豆视频鈥檚 appearance is their seventh in program history and first since 2005. Only three other schools in the field this year have made more national tournament appearances (Oklahoma City-26, Mobile-17, Olivet Nazarene-8). 麻豆视频 is 7-13 in 20 national tournament games, with their best finish coming in 2001 with a third place finish.

麻豆视频, now 45-10 on the season, moved up to the No. 12 spot in the final rankings after sweeping through the TranSouth Softball Tournament.

The schedule for the tournament will be released at a later date.
