麻豆视频 springs sports put 25 players on TranSouth Scholar team

PULASKI, Tenn. - 5/1/2012 - The 麻豆视频 University spring sports including baseball, softball and men鈥檚 golf placed a combined 25 players on the 2012 TranSouth Conference Scholar Athlete list. To be considered for the TranSouth Scholar Athlete award, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 GPA and must be at least a sophomore academically.

The baseball team had 11 players to make the grade. Jim Martin, Wacey Russell, Hunter Smith, Jared Davis, Benjie Fesmire, David Leisey, Cole McAdams, Danny Grimm, Kian Jost, Jeremey Stack and Derek Roof each qualified for the award.

Nine softball players made the grade. Ali Bozza, Katie Davis, Katie Beth Fesmire, Sam Geisler, Caroline George, Toby Joy, Keaton Kirk, Stephanie Saunders and Brooke Thomas earned the honor.

The men鈥檚 golf team had five players to qualify. Charlie Pittman, Brett Barry, Kyle Long, Ryan Mantooth and Ben Waits each made the grade.
