Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Soccer Adds Mt. Juliet Player to 2003 Roster

Jackson, Tenn. - 7/7/2003 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University soccer program continues to build their 2003 roster with their latest addition, . Goodin, from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, will be a freshman for the Bulldogs this coming fall.

Goodin, a 5-foot-5, 120 lb. striker, played his high school soccer at Mt. Juliet Christian Academy. He started three years and served as team captain as a junior and senior. As a senior, Goodin scored 14 goals and tallied four assists to earn his second straight Best Offensive Player award. In 2003, he was named the team MVP, District MVP, and the Mt. Juliet Christian Academy male Athlete of the Year. In addition to soccer, Goodin also played golf, basketball, and football for Mt. Juliet Christian Academy and was named Best Defensive Player on the basketball team as a senior.

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University soccer season will start on Monday, August 25, 2003 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas versus Ouachita Baptist College. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s first home match will be Friday, September 5 versus Brewton Parker in the Casey Jones Village Classic.
