Â鶹ÊÓƵ softball picked first in TranSouth preseason poll, No. 17 in NAIA poll

PULASKI, Tenn. - 11/15/2011 - The Â鶹ÊÓƵ University softball has been selected as the favorite to win the 2012 TranSouth softball title. Â鶹ÊÓƵ gained seven of the eight first place votes in the TranSouth Softball Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Â鶹ÊÓƵ was also ranked No. 17 in the NAIA Softball Preseason Poll released on Tuesday.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ finished runner-up last season in the TranSouth regular season and conference tournament. The Lady Bulldogs return their top three pitcher from last season, three starters on the infield and one outfield starter.
