Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Gronberg Adds NAIA All-American to 2003 Honors

Jackson, Tenn. - 5/28/2003 - of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University has been selected to the NAIA Softball All-American team. This marks the third straight All-American selection for Gronberg. The second team All-American selection comes on the heels of her TranSouth Conference and NAIA Region XI Pitcher of the Year honors.

Gronberg, a junior from College Station, Texas, helped lead Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to their fifth straight TranSouth Conference Championship, third straight NAIA region Championship, and third straight NAIA Softball World Series appearance. This season, she is 24-8 with a 0.90 ERA. She pitched 209.1 innings, started 32 games, tallied 28 complete games, and tossed 10 shut outs. Gronberg struck out 184 batters while walking just 51. On the season, Gronberg was in the top two of every pitching category.
