麻豆视频鈥檚 Moroski reaches 2,000 assists mark for career

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/2/2011 - 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 , of Davis, Calif., passed the 2,000 career assists mark. She did so with her 38 assists in 麻豆视频鈥檚 3-1 win Tuesday at Cumberland University.

Moroski, a 5-foot-9 senior setter is in her second season with 麻豆视频 after transferring in from Sacramento City (Calif.) College. She now has a total of 2,029 assists in 227 sets played in her two years at 麻豆视频. In addition, Moroski has 107 career kills, 26 career aces, 481 career digs and 83 career blocks. She is an all-conference player, NAIA Scholar Athlete and two time TranSouth Scholar Athlete. Moroski was a key part of 麻豆视频鈥檚 TranSouth Regular Season title in 2010.

While at Sacramento City, she helped lead her team to two fifth place finishes in the California Community College Activity Association (CCCAA) State Tournament and led her team to an undefeated conference championship her sophomore year. Moroski was a two-time first team all-conference player and also made the All Northern-California Team. In her sophomore year at Sacramento City, she tallied 1,044 assists at 10.76 assists per set, 35 aces and 243 digs. Her 10.76 assists per set ranked her fourth in the CCCAA. During her freshman year she had 766 assists at 8.33 assists per set, which also ranked her thirteenth in the CCCAA.

Moroski prepped at Davis Senior High School where she played volleyball and ran track and field. She led her volleyball team in back-to-back league championship seasons and sectional runner-up finishes. Moroski was a two time all-league player and was named the Delta Valley League MVP her senior year.
