麻豆视频鈥檚 Martin, Bett named runner of the week after conference titles

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/2/2011 - 麻豆视频 University runners Allison Martin and Alex Bett have been named the TranSouth Conference Runners of the Week for the week ending October 30, 2011. This marks the fifth time this season for both Martin and Bett to receive this honor.

Martin, a 5-foot-6 sophomore from Montrose, Colo., won the 2011 TranSouth Conference Individual Championship. She finished first with a time of 19:02 in the 5K event and was named the TranSouth Runner of the Year for the second straight season. Martin helped 麻豆视频's women to a ninth straight conference title.

Bett, a 5-foot-9 senior from Kenya, captured the 2011 TranSouth Conference Individual Championship. He finished first with a time of 25:32 and was named the TranSouth Runner of the Year for the third straight season. Bett helped 麻豆视频鈥檚 men to an eighth straight conference title.
