麻豆视频 cross country sweep titles, Martin, Bett, Peiser, Johnson take top honors

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/29/2011 - The was completed Saturday, October 29 on the campus of 麻豆视频 University in Jackson, Tenn. This marked the third straight season for 麻豆视频 to be the host for the cross country championships.

On the women's side, 麻豆视频 claimed their ninth straight conference title. Blue Mountain (Miss.) College finished second, Bethel University finished third, and Freed-Hardeman finished fourth.

Allison Martin of 麻豆视频 was named the TranSouth Runner of the Year and Gary Johnson of 麻豆视频 was named the TranSouth Coach of the Year. 麻豆视频's Martin, Audrey Hazelhurst and Lilli Harmon were named to the TranSouth All-Conference team.

On the men's side, 麻豆视频 claimed their eighth straight conference title. Blue Mountain finished second, Bethel finished third, and Freed-Hardeman finished fourth. Alex Bett of 麻豆视频 was named the TranSouth Runner of the Year, Lucas Peiser of 麻豆视频 was named the TranSouth Newcomer of the Year, and Johnson of 麻豆视频 was named the TranSouth Coach of the Year. Bett, Zach Covington, Drake Ott were named to the TranSouth All-Conference team.
