Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Warren earns third defensive honor

LEBANON, Tenn. - 10/24/2011 - of Â鶹ÊÓƵ University has been named the TranSouth Conference Women’ Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 23, 2011. This marks the third such honor for Warren this season and her second straight.

Warren recorded her fifth and sixth shutouts of the season in Â鶹ÊÓƵ victories over Bethel University and Â鶹ÊÓƵ (Ky.) College. The sophomore from Cabot, Ark., posted seven saves in both outings. She has allowed just 11 goals in 12 matches this season for a 0.87 goals-against-average, second-best in the TranSouth.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ (8-2-2) plays at Cumberland on Tuesday and hosts Trevecca Nazarene on Friday this week.
