Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Reis named offensive player of the week

MAYFIELD, Ky. - 10/12/2011 - of Â鶹ÊÓƵ University has been named the TranSouth Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 9.

Reis, a 6-foot junior from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, tallied a pair of goals in the Bulldogs’ win over rival Freed-Hardeman. Freed-Hardeman took an early lead, but Reis scored in the 13th minute to pull Â鶹ÊÓƵ level at 1-1. Less than a minute later, the Lions re-took the lead, but Reis pulled his team even in the 40th minute, and the Bulldogs would go on to win in overtime time by a score of 4-3.
