Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ baseball signs Dyer County’s Massie

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/4/2011 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University baseball team has signed of Dyersburg. The Dyer County High School senior will join Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ next fall as a freshman and will major in occupational therapy.

Massie, a 6-foot-1 shortstop and pitcher, preps at Dyer County (Tenn.) High School where he is in his fourth season on the baseball team. Massie helped lead his team to the 2009 Tennessee State Title as a sophomore.

Massie was named Best Defensive Player three times, all-district twice, and all-tournament team twice. Massie has a career batting average of .333 in high school.

Massie is the son of Kevin and the late Susan Massie, and Natalie Massie.
