MURRAY, Ky. - 10/3/2011 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University men’s golf team is in tenth place after two rounds in the Murray State University Invitational at the Miller Golf Club. The final round will be played on Tuesday.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Brett Barry of Jackson, Tenn. is leading the event through two rounds. Barry shot a first round 69 (-2), good for fifth place. He followed the morning round with a tournament-low 64 (-7) Monday afternoon to move into sole possession of first place. He leads Lipscomb (Tenn.) golfer Blanton Farmer by four shots.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s team moved up from 11th to tenth after a second round score of 290. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ posted a 304 in the morning round. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Barry is at 133 to lead all golfers. Jesper Swedenborg is at 153 (T50), Ben Waits is at 154 (T55), David Hopper is at 158 (T66) and Andrew Knight is at 163 (T61).
