Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Landham named defensive player of the week

MAYFIELD, Ky. - 9/28/2011 - Â鶹ÊÓƵ University has been named the TranSouth Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 27, 2011.

Landham, a 6-foot-2 senior from Hendersonville, Tenn., earned a shutout win over Williams Baptist (Ark.), posting three saves in the Bulldogs’ 2-0 victory. Landham has played every minute for Â鶹ÊÓƵ in goal this season through the first eight matches. He has 37 total saves with a 1.07 goals against average. The was his first shutout of the season.

Up next for Â鶹ÊÓƵ men’s soccer will be at Mid-Continent (Ky.) on October 1.
