麻豆视频鈥檚 Martin, Bett named runners of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/19/2011 - 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 and have been named the TranSouth Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week for the week ending September 18, 2011. The due posted the best times among all conference cross country runners on the week.

Martin, a 5-foot-6 sophomore from Montrose, Colo., posted a 47th place finish with a time of 19:22 in the Vanderbilt Commodore Classic. She helped 麻豆视频 to a 12th place finish in the event with a team score of 1:41:33. In the 5K event, 197 runners competed. This is the second runner of the week award for Martin this season.

Bett, a 5-foot-9 senior from Kenya, placed 35th place with a time of 26:27 in the Vanderbilt Commodore Classic. He helped 麻豆视频 to a 16th place finish in the event with a team score of 2:20:51. In the 8K event, 190 runners competed. This is the second runner of the week honor for Bett this season.
