麻豆视频鈥檚 Watson, Warren earn women鈥檚 soccer weekly honors

LEBANON, Tenn. - 9/19/2011 - 麻豆视频 University's and were named the TranSouth Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, for the week ending September 18, 2011.

The duo helped 麻豆视频 to a conference victory against Lyon (Ark.) College.

Watson, a 5-foot-5 freshman forward, scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 conference win over Lyon to help 麻豆视频 to a 1-0-0 league record. The Murfreesboro, Tenn., native has scored six goals on the season, half of 麻豆视频's total for the year, and helped the Lady Bulldogs to three consecutive victories. She has a game-winning assist and a pair of game-winning goals in the last three matches.

Warren, a 5-goot-8 sophomore goalie, posted her third shutout of the season, blanking Lyon on five saves. In six matches this season, the Cabot, Ark., native has three shutouts and allowed just one goal twice.

麻豆视频 currently stands 4-1-1 overall and hosts Christian Brothers and Davenport University this week.
